The bye for league leaders Pennarossa opens up an opportunity for Murata, who could climb to the top of the table in matchday eight of the San Marino Futsal Championship. Among the most eagerly awaited fixtures is also the Folgore-Cosmos derby, scheduled for Tuesday at 9:45pm in Fiorentino.
Folgore come into the match on the back of two consecutive defeats, against Pennarossa and Libertas. Cosmos, on the other hand, returned to winning ways last time out and are looking for more points to stay close to the top of the table.
The round gets underway on Tuesday at 8:15pm with Tre Fiori-Tre Penne in Domagnano and Fiorentino-Juvenes Dogana in Fiorentino. Tre Fiori want to bounce back after a 0-0 draw with Faetano, while Tre Penne aim to continue their climb up the standings. In the other match, both sides are chasing points to pull out of a difficult spell.
At 9:45pm in Domagnano, Faetano will take on Domagnano, with the chance to draw level with them in the standings in case of victory.
The evening will close at 10pm in Acquaviva with Libertas-Virtus. The granata side, currently fourth, can rely on Matteo Moretti’s seven goals in his last two matches. Virtus arrive on the back of a 4-0 win over San Giovanni.
On Wednesday at 9pm in Fiorentino, it will be the turn of Murata-Cailungo. The black-and-whites are chasing top spot, while the red-and-greens sit bottom of the table with just one point.
Closing out the round will be La Fiorita-San Giovanni, on Thursday at 10pm in Acquaviva. San Giovanni are seeking points in their push for the playoffs, reserved for the top eight teams at the end of the regular season.
