They had come to San Marino for Rallylegend, but the night ended with a police report and expulsion from the Titano. Four Spanish nationals were stopped in the Ciarulla industrial area: more than 100 grams of drugs were found in their camper van.
According to San Marino RTV, the checks began after the group started mocking a passing patrol.
During the stop, officers discovered narcotics on the group. A search of the camper van, where they had planned to spend the night, was then carried out.
The drugs were hidden in several spots throughout the vehicle: cocaine, marijuana and amphetamines. The largest quantity was found on the outside, in a magnetic pouch attached to the vehicle’s metal parts.
Taken to the civil police headquarters, the four were questioned with full legal safeguards and reported while remaining at large.
All four were also ordered expelled from San Marino with a ban on re-entry.
