Violamarie has led San Marino to fourth place at Junior Eurovision 2026, the best result ever achieved by the Republic in the competition.
On stage in Malta, the young singer performed “Ruota panoramica” (“Ferris Wheel”), improving by five places on San Marino’s previous best, set just last year.
The online vote also brought a new record: Violamarie came second among the representatives of the sixteen competing countries.
Her song portrays life through the image of a ferris wheel, with its ups and downs and ever-changing perspectives.
The title went to Naré for Armenia, with “Boo!”, praised by both the public and the juries.
