This morning (Tuesday 27 October), 40 pupils from the “Il Castello” Preschool in Serravalle, accompanied by their teachers, visited the Museum of Sport and Olympism run by CONS (San Marino’s National Olympic Committee), embarking on a journey through the sporting history of the Republic of San Marino.
During the guided tour, the children were able to view memorabilia and artefacts from the past, retracing some of the most significant achievements of San Marino’s athletes. It was an opportunity to get up close with objects and mementoes tied to the country’s Olympic and sporting heritage, as well as to ask questions and satisfy their curiosity. The young visitors showed great interest, taking part enthusiastically and enjoying every moment of the visit.
The tour concluded with a moment the children particularly loved: a lap around the track at the San Marino Stadium, filled with smiles and friendly competition.
It was a meeting of past and future, with the memory of San Marino sport serving as a source of inspiration for new generations — proof that knowledge of one’s own history can give rise to the dreams and ambitions needed to build the future.
