Nicola Bonfè and Massimo Bizzocchi win the historic car category at the 24th Rallylegend. The Titano Motorsport crew finished ahead of the field with their Ford Escort RS 2000 MKII, combining spectacle and speed across the four days of the San Marino event.
“The satisfaction of this result is truly huge, because it came in such a special setting as Rallylegend, an event that always delivers unique emotions,” said Bonfè. The driver thanked D.events, Titano Motorsport, the Pb team’s support crew and the sponsors.
In the Star category, where times do not count towards the standings, Patrick Conforti and Massimo Fedrizzi took part with a Ford Escort RS 1800 MKII. For Conforti, it marked the switch from spectator — having watched the previous five editions — to driver on the roads of Titano.
Stefano Camporesi and Cristian Giulianelli also competed outside the official classification, driving a Lancia Delta Integrale 16V. A broken axle shaft on the “La Casa” special stage brought their run to a halt, but the assistance crew managed to get them back on track for the final day.
The Rallylegend of Michele Pellegrini and Arianna Palazzi, who started in the SAF category aboard a Ford Escort RS Cosworth, ended instead in retirement.
