Murata returned to winning ways after almost a year, while La Fiorita played out their second consecutive draw. These were the two results that closed out matchday two of the 2026-27 San Marino Championship, with the bianconeri beating Pennarossa 4-1 and San Marino Academy Under 22 holding one of the tournament’s most eagerly awaited sides to a 1-1 draw.
In Acquaviva, Pennarossa struck first, with Abouzziane finding the net after less than ten minutes. Murata’s response, however, came before the break: Capriotti equalised on a pass from Hassler, and just two minutes later the number ten himself completed the turnaround. In the second half Hassler became the undisputed protagonist, first with a lobbed effort to make it 3-1 and then, late on, with the goal that completed his personal hat-trick and sealed the 4-1 final score. For Murata, it was a victory that had eluded them since 19 October 2025.
In Montecchio, meanwhile, San Marino Academy started brightly and took the lead as early as the 5th minute. From a corner kick, Diego Zavoli pounced on a scramble in the box to put the Under 22 side ahead. La Fiorita’s response came about ten minutes later through Cicarelli, who latched onto a pass from Errico and struck first-time into the top corner to make it 1-1.
The Academy continued to create chances throughout the rest of the match, but found an alert Matteo Zavoli standing in their way. La Fiorita, in turn, pushed for a winner but were unable to convert the opportunities they created. The score remained unchanged: 1-1, giving Academy their first point of the season, while La Fiorita, following their previous draw against Virtus, slipped to four points off the top.
