The Eurocup IMAC 2026 season continues in Hungary. Jakabszállás hosted the penultimate round of the calendar, featuring the San Marino pilots of Aerobatic Team San Marino, Cristian and Massimo Selva.
Cristian Selva got off to a strong start, posting the second-best flight in the second heat and even outperforming the current European champions. In the following rounds, however, strong winds and a mechanical issue related to managing the aircraft’s power during the unknown programme cost him a few positions. The San Marino pilot ultimately finished the competition in eighth place overall.
The competition proved trickier for Massimo Selva, who, as a result of the draw, found himself flying first in two of the five scheduled rounds, including one of the unknown heats. He finished the event in eleventh place overall.
The Hungarian leg of the Eurocup IMAC was won by Sacha Cecconi, ahead of Werner Kohlberger and Timen Deprince. For the two Aerobatic Team San Marino pilots, only one round of the 2026 calendar now remains.
