San Marino has broken into Europe’s eSports Top 25 thanks to Davide Casadei. The Sammarinese player wrapped up his participation in the UEFA eEURO 2026, the continental tournament dedicated to EA SPORTS FC, the video game that inherited the legacy of the famous FIFA series, achieving the best result ever recorded by the Titan in this discipline.
Casadei finished the competition among the top 25 out of 45 participating nations, with a record of two wins — against Malta and Lithuania — and three defeats, against Sweden, Greece and Italy.
The tournament unfolded over two days, starting with a Swiss-system group stage, which determines pairings based on match results, followed by a double-elimination bracket.
The blue-and-white representative competed in Ultimate Team mode, using squads provided by EA Sports and complying with the limitations set out in the tournament regulations. The result marks a new milestone for San Marino’s eSports movement.
