Coppa Titano kicks off: seven clashes launch the race for the trophy

Fourteen teams enter the round of 16, first legs on Tuesday and Wednesday, with La Fiorita already through to the quarter-finals as holders.

After the league, it’s time for Coppa Titano in San Marino. The 2026-2027 edition gets under way tomorrow, Tuesday 8 September, with the first four round-of-16 matches, while Wednesday evening completes the schedule with the remaining three fixtures. A total of 14 teams will take part, playing home-and-away ties. The seven winners will join La Fiorita, holders of the last edition and already through to the quarter-finals, at that stage of the competition.

Kick-off for the opening tie is set for 8:45pm on Tuesday. At Montecchio, San Giovanni and Cosmos will look to change gear after a league campaign that has fallen short of expectations. In Acquaviva, meanwhile, it’s Domagnano against Faetano, pitting a Domagnano side that started strongly and currently share the top of the table against a Faetano team looking to tighten up a defence that has shown some cracks in the opening rounds.

Derby in Fiorentino, Tre Penne take on Juvenes Dogana

Among the most eagerly awaited matches of the opening night is the Castello di Fiorentino derby between Fiorentino and Tre Fiori, set to take place at the “Federico Crescentini” stadium. Tre Fiori, fresh off their San Marino Super Cup triumph, arrive having already scored nine goals in the league and will face a side that has shown solid defensive form.

Also kicking off at 8:45pm, at the “Ezio Conti” stadium in Dogana, Tre Penne will host Juvenes Dogana. Tre Penne go into the match still unbeaten in the league and will look to carry that momentum into the knockout competition.

Three more matches on Wednesday, Libertas-Folgore also on FIFA+

On Wednesday 9 September, the programme resumes at 8:45pm with Pennarossa against Cailungo in Acquaviva. Both sides remain pointless in the league so far, and the Cup offers an immediate chance for redemption.

The situation is entirely different for Libertas and Folgore, who meet in Dogana after both remaining unbeaten in the early stages of the season. The match will also be broadcast, in addition to the federation’s own channels, live on FIFA+.

Closing out the first legs of the round of 16 will be Murata against Virtus in Montecchio. Murata have started the season scoring freely but also conceding just as often, while Virtus arrive in the Cup with four league points to their name and, notably, still without conceding a goal.

All matches free to stream

The full first-leg schedule for the round of 16 sees, on Tuesday 8 September at 8:45pm, San Giovanni-Cosmos in Montecchio, Domagnano-Faetano in Acquaviva, Fiorentino-Tre Fiori in Fiorentino and Tre Penne-Juvenes Dogana in Dogana. On Wednesday 9, also at 8:45pm, it’s the turn of Pennarossa-Cailungo in Acquaviva, Libertas-Folgore in Dogana and Murata-Virtus in Montecchio.

All seven matches will be available free of charge, streamed live on TITANI TV with Italian commentary. Libertas-Folgore will also be broadcast on FIFA+.
