The San Marino women’s national team will find out on Tuesday 3 November who it will face in its first-ever UEFA tournament. The draw for the 2027 Women’s Nations League will be held in Nyon from 1pm and will also determine the fixture schedule.
For the side coached by Giulia Domenichetti, the competition will mark the team’s debut in competitive matches in the early months of next year. Before that, between late November and early December, the first FIFA friendlies are scheduled.
The Titans will start out in League C, placed in pot four alongside Liechtenstein, Gibraltar and Andorra. These three nations therefore cannot be drawn into the same group as San Marino.
Liechtenstein and Gibraltar, meanwhile, will be San Marino’s opponents in the November and December friendlies.
League C will be made up of six groups, two of which will have three teams. San Marino is already guaranteed to end up in a group of four.
With the entry of the San Marino side, ranked last in Europe at 54th place, the Nations League will reach a record 54 participants. Russia remains excluded.
