Halloween Ronde rally heads to San Leo: four special stages across Friday and Saturday

San Leo will host the heart of the sixth Halloween Ronde, with the Torrente San Marino special stage run four times between the night race on Friday and three stages on Saturday.

San Leo will be the heart of the sixth edition of the Halloween Ronde, the rally organized by Scuderia San Marino scheduled for Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October. The event was presented this morning at the Fortress, in the presence of local administrators, organizers and some of the competing crews.

The competition will take place mainly within the municipality of San Leo, with the Torrente San Marino special stage to be tackled four times. The first run will take place on Friday evening, under floodlights, while the other three are scheduled for Saturday.

The cars’ regrouping area will also be hosted in San Leo’s historic centre, bringing the rally directly into the streets of the village.

Speaking at the presentation were Mayor Leonardo Bindi, Scuderia San Marino president Roberto Selva, Deputy Mayor Valentina Guerra, councillor Moredo Gjolena, and drivers Alessio Pisi and Elia Pignani, together with co-driver Fabrizio Gorrieri.

Mayor Bindi expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached with Scuderia San Marino, describing it as a first step towards further collaborations. The municipal council also voiced a positive view of the event’s arrival.

President Roberto Selva confirmed the organizers’ commitment to delivering a spectacular race that meets safety standards. The new special stage promises to be fast and demanding, with a strong field of entrants.

Among the favourites is Alessio Pisi, winner of the 2023 and 2025 editions, who is aiming to repeat his success this year. “Like every driver taking part, the goal is to do your best and try to win, even though the competition is tough,” he said.

The novelty of the route, never before used in competition, could make the challenge even more balanced. “This means everyone starts on the same level,” Pisi noted.

Also highly anticipated is the participation of Elia Pignani and Fabrizio Gorrieri, both natives of San Leo, who will have the chance to race on home roads.

The appointment is set for 30 and 31 October, with two days of competition set to bring crews and fans alike to the San Leo area.
