Understanding which workers San Marino companies really need and where the greatest difficulties in finding staff arise. This is the starting point of the second survey on training and employment needs, launched by the Secretariat of State for Labour.
The aim is to obtain an up-to-date picture of the San Marino labour market, identifying the professional profiles in short supply, the skills increasingly in demand, and the sectors where staff will need training or reskilling. This information will then be used to better plan training, career guidance and active labour market policies.
The survey is being carried out in collaboration with the Office for Labour and Active Policies (ULPA) and through consultation with trade unions and employers’ associations.
Companies themselves will respond directly, via a questionnaire available online on the OPEC Portal. One section will map the current composition of staff, while the other will look at future needs, from new hires to required skills.
“Planning the Republic’s economic development means, first and foremost, listening to those who generate value and employment every day,” says Secretary of State Alessandro Bevitori, who is encouraging business owners to take part.
The information gathered will be handled in aggregate form and will help guide upcoming decisions on labour and economic planning for the Republic.
