A day of festivity, music and fun, but above all of solidarity with children and their families. On Friday, 11 September, starting at 4pm, the Parco Ausa in Dogana will host the fourth edition of “Il senso di ogni cosa” (“The meaning of everything”), a charity event promoted by the Secretariat of State for Tourism in collaboration with the Tourism Office and under the patronage of the Congress of State. The initiative was presented today, 7 September, during a press conference.
The event will be completely free and will also help raise funds for the San Marino associations InSiamo and Oceano Blu. The former supports children affected by oncohematological diseases and their families, while Oceano Blu works on the front of rare diseases, with particular attention to the genetic condition CAMK2B syndrome, backing research, awareness and inclusion.
An afternoon entirely dedicated to children
Starting at 4pm, Parco Ausa will turn into a large village for families. There will be inflatables, face painting, food trucks, games, stalls, storytelling sessions and magic shows, featuring Mago Gabriel and Magica Gilly. Also taking part will be VIP Nasi Rossi (Red Nose Clown Doctors), the “Lettori con la Valigia” reading group, the associations Liluna and Karibuni, Hobby World and Cool Things. There will also be caricatures by Arrigo and a charity lucky dip.
On the entertainment front, DJ Andrea Lombardo will take the stage from 4 to 5pm, followed by a performance by Mya Gym. Next up will be Super Paciughino with games and magic tricks, a K-Pop tribute act, a baby dance session and a grand finale with soap bubbles. From 7.30pm, the San Marino Concert Band will take the stage.
Sport will also feature: from 4 to 6pm, visitors can join in children’s yoga activities, while from 5 to 6pm an Acroyoga jam session will be led by coaches from Fluxo.
Simona Ventura hosts the “Oltre la cura” talk
At 5pm, the programme also includes “Oltre la cura” (“Beyond care”), a talk focused on psychological support for children affected by cancer or rare diseases, and for their families. It will be hosted by Simona Ventura. Taking part in the discussion will be representatives of the ISS General Management, the president of San Marino’s Order of Psychologists, InSiamo, Oceano Blu and the association Viviamo in Positivo – VIP Nasi Rossi.
At 6pm, this will be followed by the presentation of the book “Martina il Cuore e la Rosa”.
Fabrizio Moro’s concert at 9pm
The grand finale will be entrusted to Fabrizio Moro. At 9pm, the singer-songwriter will take the Parco Ausa stage with his “Non ho paura di niente – live tour” (“I’m not afraid of anything”). Fittingly, one of his best-known songs, “Il senso di ogni cosa,” lends its name to the entire event, tying the concert to the day’s message.
“This is the kind of event I hope will become a permanent fixture, born to offer genuine empathy and concrete support to those who need our help, our sense of community,” explained the Secretary of State for Tourism, Federico Pedini Amati, stressing the importance of offering families not just material help but also emotional closeness.
Parking, shuttle buses and a bad-weather backup plan
To make it easier for the public to reach the venue, parking at the San Marino Outlet Experience in Rovereta will be available, staying open until 1am, with a shuttle service to Parco Ausa running from 5.30pm to 11.30pm. The fifth floor of the Atlante shopping centre’s car park will also be available for use.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed to 19 September.
