A goal apiece and several chances to win it, but at the “Federico Crescentini” in Fiorentino, Cailungo and Juvenes Dogana had to settle for a draw. The match finished 1-1, with both goals coming within a few minutes of each other in the second half.
Juvenes Dogana controlled possession, while Cailungo relied on counterattacks. Costa tested Pedini with a decisive deflection, while at the other end Tordella blocked a shot from Lisi with his foot.
After the break, the pace picked up. In the 50th minute, Tordella saved a deflection from teammate Quaranta, before Lisi came close with a shot that grazed the post. Colonna also impressed, clearing a header from Cecconi at close range.
From the resulting corner, however, Cailungo took the lead: Cecconi flicked the ball on and Colagiovanni found the winning touch at the far post.
Juvenes Dogana responded almost immediately. Aprea, who had just come on, capitalized on a mistake by Zonzini and equalized in the 61st minute with a curling right-footed shot from the edge of the box.
In the closing stages, both teams continued to search for the winning goal. Amadori beat four defenders but shot wide, while Costa’s effort lacked power after a knockdown from Bua. Neither side could find the decisive touch, and the match ended 1-1.
