A collision between a car and a large-displacement scooter took place on the morning of Friday, October 30, in Borgo Maggiore. The accident occurred around 11am along Strada Sesta Gualdaria, at the underpass junction near TitanCoop.
According to initial reconstructions, still being examined by officers, a car bearing Sammarinese plates is believed to have struck the scooter, causing it to fall onto the road. Investigators are also considering the possibility that one of the drivers failed to yield right of way.
Emergency medical personnel from the 118 service responded to the scene, providing first aid to the motorcyclist before transporting him to the State Hospital for further examination. No details have been released regarding his condition.
Civil police carried out an on-site survey to reconstruct the dynamics of the crash and determine any responsibility. The accident caused traffic delays, with normal circulation resuming once the vehicles involved were removed.
