San Marino also took part in the 15th Uefa Coach Education Conference, held in Rome from 20 to 22 October. The event, organized every three years for Uefa member federations, was attended by Carlo Chiarabini, head of the FSGC’s Training Department, and Fabio Lepri, an expert in coach education.
The discussions focused on the evolving role of the coach and strategies for preparing new generations of trainers, with particular attention paid to the quality of educational pathways.
The debate centered on a shared principle: better-trained instructors help produce better coaches, who in turn are better equipped to develop players and raise the overall quality of football.
