The collective wild boar drive hunt will begin in San Marino on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 and continue until Wednesday, 27 January 2027. The announcement was made by the San Marino Hunting Federation (Federazione Sammarinese della Caccia) in a notice to the public.
The hunts will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting at 10am, in the areas identified by the maps approved by the Wildlife and Habitat Observatory (Osservatorio della Fauna Selvatica e dei relativi Habitat).
The areas involved will be marked off and clearly identifiable by signs reading “WARNING: WILD BOAR HUNT IN PROGRESS”.
