San Marino, via Romolo Murri closed for a morning: tree removal works

Road in Domagnano's Castello to shut for veicular and pedestrian traffic on September 15 to allow safe removal of a dried-out, unstable tree.

Via Romolo Murri will be closed for one morning to allow the removal of a dangerous, unstable tree. The announcement comes from the State Public Works Authority (Azienda Autonoma di Stato per i Lavori Pubblici, AASLP), which has scheduled the operation for Tuesday, September 15, in the Castello of Domagnano.

The closure will affect the stretch of via Romolo Murri between its intersection with via L. Russo and the one with via Piero Calamandrei. The measure will be in force from 7:30 to 12:30 and will apply to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. During the same time frame, a no-parking order will also be in effect.

The measure is necessary to safely carry out the removal of a dried-out tree. While the work is underway, alternative routes will be set up and clearly signposted on site to allow traffic to bypass the affected area.

The AASLP is therefore urging anyone who needs to travel through the area on Tuesday morning to pay close attention to the temporary signage and to follow the detours indicated on site.
