With the summer schedule now over, Smuvi is reverting to the hours tied to regular school and work activity. Starting Monday, 7 September, the on-demand public transport service run by Aass will adopt a new set of operating time slots.
On weekdays the service will run from 8:30am to 8pm, with a temporary adjustment in place until 14 September: during this period rides can start as early as 6:45am, to cover morning commutes before the dedicated school routes come into effect on 15 September.
Hours will be longer over the weekend. On Fridays and Saturdays Smuvi will operate until 1am, the deadline by which the last passenger-carrying ride must be completed. On Sundays and public holidays, meanwhile, the service will run from 8am to 8pm.
To book a ride, users can still rely on the Smuvi app directly from their smartphone. Alternatively, they can contact the telephone switchboard during its scheduled opening hours.
