Dennis Spircu and Natalia Maria Dicu win the San Marino Junior Open

Romanian teenager Spircu also secures a wild card for next year's San Marino Open qualifiers, while 13-year-old Dicu claims the girls' title.

Dennis Ciprian Spircu and Natalia Maria Dicu are the winners of the 2026 San Marino Junior Open, an ITF Under-18 J60 tournament that concluded today on the courts of the Centro Tennis Cassa di Risparmio at Fonte dell’Ovo.

The Romanian player, who has lived in Romagna for years, triumphed after a fiercely contested final against his doubles partner Lorenzo Rocco, winning 6-2, 7-6(4) after a second-set tie-break. Alongside the title, Spircu also earned a coveted wild card into the qualifying rounds of next year’s San Marino Open, an ATP Challenger 125 event. Rounding off a highly successful day, he also claimed the doubles title with Rocco, defeating Van Son Didoni and Sebastiano Montovani 6-4, 6-1.

In the girls’ singles, 13-year-old Romanian Natalia Maria Dicu came out on top, beating third seed Sofia Cadar 6-3, 6-3 in the final.

The girls’ doubles final proved a nail-biter, with the pairing of Moldova’s Romina Hincu and Russia’s Daria Litvinova prevailing 7-6(4), 7-6(2) over Italians Giulia Maria Sofia Bonaccorso and Diletta D’Amico.
