San Marino, from intentions to action: Tony Margiotta presents his book “Metodo EXE”

Presented at the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, the book explores why knowing what to do isn't enough — and how to actually do it.

“Metodo EXE – Essere, Eseguire, Evolvere” (“Method EXE – Being, Executing, Evolving”) was presented at the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, the new book by Tony Margiotta focused on the journey from decision-making to actual action. The volume, which has received the patronage of the Congress of State, features a preface by Secretary of State Teodoro Lonfernini. A public presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, 11 November at 9pm at the Centro Sociale in Dogana.

The author outlined the project in a post on the Metodo EXE Facebook page. “The problem isn’t knowing what to do. It’s managing to actually do it.” That is the starting point of the book, which draws on Margiotta’s personal and professional experience as well as his academic studies.

“It all starts with a question: why, even when we know exactly what we need to do, do we often fail to do it?” Margiotta writes. “That gap between intention and action is called the Execution Gap. And that’s precisely what METODO EXE was built to address.”

The book offers tools and exercises designed to help readers tackle this challenge in everyday life. The author describes it as follows: “Not just another motivational book, but a practical manual — with tools, exercises and concrete paths to help turn decisions into actions and build greater self-confidence.”

In his post, Margiotta thanked the Congress of State for its patronage and Lonfernini for his support of the project and for writing the preface. During the evening event in Dogana, he will explain how the method came about and what it entails: “It will be a chance to tell you how the Method was born, share my experience, and introduce the tools that make it applicable to everyday life.”
