San Marino, “Amori da marciapiede” opens Little Tony theatre season

Qaos Gruppo Teatrale's immersive show kicks off "Teatro Vivo 26/27" at Serravalle's Auditorium Little Tony on 16 October.

“Amori da marciapiede”, staged by the Forlì-based company Qaos Gruppo Teatrale, will open the “Teatro Vivo 26/27” season at the Auditorium Little Tony in Serravalle on Friday, 16 October 2026 at 9pm. The programme, organised by Vo.Ci. – Volontari Civici nei Castelli and the Giunta di Castello of Serravalle (the local district council), features ten shows, all scheduled on Fridays at 9pm, running until 9 April 2027.

The production, conceived and directed by Alberto Sebastian Ricci, calls for a different arrangement of the venue than the usual one. “For the evening, the stalls, curtain and stage all disappear: the audience steps into the ‘Elite Noir’, an imaginary venue that is both elegant and decadent, suspended between reality and imagination, moving between different settings as words and music reach them from unexpected corners of the hall,” reads the press release. Guiding the audience will be Viola del Ciondolo, described as an ironic and ambiguous hostess. The journey leads to encounters with figures of the night and people on the margins of society, including prostitutes, gigolos and an eccentric sexologist.

The texts, written by Davide Linari, Annalisa Licata and Alberto Sebastian Ricci, are partly freely inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini, Dacia Maraini and other authors, and have been rewritten and performed by the cast. “Beneath its sensual and provocative surface, the show tackles themes such as loneliness, identity, judgment and the need for love, portraying lives that are closer to the audience’s own than they might appear at first glance,” the organisers explain. The performance is recommended for adult audiences and unfolds around the spectators themselves: “Since the action takes place around the audience rather than in front of them, no two evenings are ever the same.” The company’s invitation is simple: “Don’t just come to watch it. Come to walk through it.”

Qaos Gruppo Teatrale is a social promotion association founded in Forlì in 1994, registered with UILT (Unione Italiana Libero Teatro), with more than thirty years of activity behind it. After the 16 October opening, the Auditorium Little Tony season will continue on Friday, 6 November with “So’Shemi”, staged by the Bologna-based company Teatro a Molla.
