Luigi Bizzotto remains at the helm of NAT San Marino. The former Virtus coach has been confirmed as head coach of the Titan’s national representative side, which is now gearing up for its campaign towards the UEFA Regions’ Cup 2026/27.
The decision marks a continuation of the project after the team’s steady growth in recent years, which culminated in the squad’s appearance at the final stage of the Regions’ Cup 2025, held for the first time in San Marino itself.
Alongside Bizzotto, the technical staff has also been confirmed in full: Mattia Rizzo as assistant coach, Roberto Penserini as technical collaborator, Claudio Bertoni as goalkeeping coach, Annamaria Ferri as team doctor, and Tiziano Giacobbi as physiotherapist. The one new addition is Simone Bacciocchi, who joins as team manager.
NAT San Marino will return to training in the coming weeks ahead of the Regions’ Cup Intermediate Round, set to take place in October in Serbia. The Titans will kick off their campaign on 15 October against Slovenia’s Ptuj, followed on the 18th by a clash with Moldova’s Anenii Noi.
The round will close on 21 October against hosts Vojvodina, a side San Marino already faced during the final stage of the 2025 edition.
