“Laboratorio in scena” is back in San Marino, the training course led by actor, director and acting coach Fabrizio Raggi. The 2026/2027 edition will run from 5 October 2026 to 31 May 2027 at the Sala Joe Cassar in Borgo Maggiore, with three in-person workshops and a new online offering.
The programme is aimed both at newcomers to acting and at those who already have experience. All in-person sessions will take place on Mondays from 7 to 10 pm. The course begins on 5 October and runs until 7 December with a workshop on voice, diction and expressive reading, made up of ten sessions and concluding with a public reading by the students. From 11 January to 15 March 2027 it will be the turn of “L’attore in scena” (“The actor on stage”), dedicated to theatrical acting, while from 22 March to 31 May the focus shifts to screen acting according to the Strasberg Method, a course that will end with the making of a collective short film.
The main novelty is an online course in diction, phonetics and expressive reading, held live via Zoom with a maximum of eight participants per class. Two options are available: ten lessons on Monday afternoons, from 5 October to 7 December, or eight sessions on Tuesday mornings, from 6 October to 24 November.
The courses will be led by Fabrizio Raggi, a professional with more than thirty years of experience in theatre, film and television, who has been active in training since 2002. Over the course of his career he has worked in productions alongside, among others, Giorgio Albertazzi, Dario Fo, Gigi Proietti, Ugo Gregoretti and Maurizio Scaparro. In San Marino he has also served as artistic director of the delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest and as head of Cineturismo (film tourism).
Registration is now open. For information, contact the organisers at laboratorioinscena2002@gmail.com or call 346 0935486.
