Work is set to begin at parking lot 2 in the hospital area, near the building housing the specialist outpatient clinics. Starting Monday, September 21, refurbishment and repainting work on level 0 and level -1 will get underway, bringing some temporary changes to pedestrian routes.
The work will be carried out by the State Public Works Authority (Azienda dei Lavori Pubblici) and is expected to last about three days.
“For the entire duration of the works,” the announcement states, “the internal stairwell and lift will not be usable at Level 0.”
Those parking on levels -1 through -4 will still be able to use the internal stairs or lift to reach level -1. From there, they will need to continue on foot to the exterior, using the outdoor stairs next to the park.
“It will not be possible to reach Level 0 via the internal stairs,” the notice specifies.
To assist users during the works, dedicated signage will be installed both inside and outside the stairwell and lift area, indicating the alternative routes to follow.
