La Fiorita came out of the blocks in style in the 2026-27 San Marino Futsal Championship. On the opening night of the new season, the yellow-and-blues put in a clinical 6-1 win over Juvenes Dogana, while the result that turned the most heads came from Fiorentino, where Faetano stunned Tre Penne 3-1.
At the Multieventi centre, La Fiorita made their intentions clear from the start. Andrea Ercolani, one of the club’s new signings, opened the scoring, before Pasqualini doubled the lead and Simone Chezzi sent his side into the break 3-0 up. In the second half came further goals from Pellegrini, Pasqualini again – completing his brace – and Zafferani. Cecchini pulled one back for Juvenes Dogana in the 53rd minute.
The shock of the night, however, belonged to Faetano. Facing a Tre Penne side that started as favourites, the yellow-and-blues went ahead in the 23rd minute through Taddei and doubled their advantage six minutes later with Rossi. Tassitano pulled one back for the white-and-blues, but an own goal by Dellamotta in the 49th minute sealed the 3-1 result.
Elsewhere, Virtus and Cosmos finished 2-2. Liistro and Tedesco traded early goals, before an own goal by former player Francesco Stolfi put Virtus back in front. It was Stolfi himself, though, who made amends late on, netting the equaliser for Cosmos in the 57th minute.
It was also a winning start for the reigning champions of Murata, who edged past Folgore 3-2. Abbruciati put the Falciano side ahead, Molinas levelled, and in the second half Mattioli and Recober turned the game around. Mularoni pulled one back in the 48th minute, but it wasn’t enough.
Things were far more straightforward for Libertas, who opened their campaign with a comfortable 5-1 win over Cailungo. Michelotti got the scoring underway, Gasperoni added a brace, and Baldelli made it four. Sarti grabbed a consolation goal for Cailungo, before Giuccioli sealed the 5-1 final scoreline.
The opening round is not yet complete. This evening at 10pm, at the Acquaviva sports hall, it’s the turn of Pennarossa and Domagnano. The round closes on Thursday, again at Acquaviva, with Fiorentino-Tre Fiori.
