Strada Quinta Gualdaria will be closed for safety works following a landslide. In Faetano, the stretch between Via Bigandola and Strada Forco will be off-limits from 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, until 4 p.m. on December 18.
For the entire duration of the works, no vehicles will be allowed to travel in either direction. A no-parking order and a ban on pedestrian access will also be in place.
The Secretariats of State for Internal Affairs and for Territory are advising motorists to use alternative routes via Montegiardino or Torraccia. School transport routes will also change, with the AASS (state transport authority) set to announce the revised schedules during the course of the week.
The works and the related traffic management plan will be presented to residents on Tuesday, October 27, at 8:30 p.m., during a public meeting at the conference hall of the Ente Cassa di Faetano.
