A first continental experience and an eighth-place finish for Beatrice Casarin at the European Artistic Skating Championships, held in Ponte di Legno between 29 August and 10 September.
The young athlete from the San Marino Roller Sports Federation, fresh off a second-place finish at the Memorial Filippini & Dall’Acqua in Misano Adriatico, made her European debut in the Cadets B category.
Casarin finished the Short Program in seventh place, before placing eighth in the Long Program, a result that secured her eighth position in the overall standings.
It was a positive debut for the San Marino skater, who found herself competing against athletes from across Europe. Beyond the final placement, the Federation highlighted Casarin’s ability to manage tension and emotions in a top-level international competition.
The European Championships in Ponte di Legno thus mark another milestone in the young athlete’s development and an important experience ahead of upcoming competitions.
