The Pavia Prosecutor’s Office has requested that Andrea Sempio be sent to trial for the aggravated murder of Chiara Poggi, killed on 13 August 2007 in Garlasco.
According to the prosecution, Sempio allegedly acted with cruelty and hatred. This reconstruction of events will now have to be examined by a judge.
The matter now passes to the preliminary hearing judge, who will decide on the prosecutors’ request.
