San Marino updates rules on temporary export plates for vehicles

The State Congress has adopted a delegated decree amending the regulations governing temporary export plates for vehicles.

The rules governing temporary export plates for vehicles in San Marino are changing. The State Congress has adopted a delegated decree amending the legislation that regulates the use of these plates.

The measure was approved on a proposal from the Secretary of State for Finance and Budget, with delegated authority over Transport, taking into account indications submitted by the Motor Vehicle and Transport Registry Office (Ufficio Registro Automezzi e Trasporti) last July.

The decree revises the regulations concerning temporary plates for vehicles destined for export, amending the provisions set out in San Marino’s existing legislation.

Following its adoption by the government, the text will be forwarded to the Captains Regent for promulgation, in accordance with the procedure established under the Republic’s legal system.
