Mattia Casadei will lead San Marino’s Under-19 futsal national team in the qualifiers for the European Championship of the category, scheduled from 19 to 24 January 2027.
The third head coach in the history of the selection, Casadei has already worked alongside Osimani, including during the last continental campaign in Albania.
The Biancazzurri will play in front of their own fans, hosting Group A of the preliminary round. Their opponents will be Gibraltar, Kosovo and Estonia, drawn on 2 October.
The group winner will advance to the Main Round, where twenty-five other national teams will join the competition.
Supporting Casadei will be Fabio Gasperoni as assistant coach, Gianpaolo Brighi as goalkeeping coach, Lorenzo Bollini as fitness coach, and Francesco Morri as team manager.
