San Marino championship, two draws in round six: Domagnano rescues a point at the 94th minute

A dramatic late equalizer saves Domagnano against Murata, while Fiorentino and Cailungo share the points in a 1-1 draw at Acquaviva.

Two draws marked Saturday’s matches in round six of the 2026-27 San Marino championship. At Montecchio, Domagnano grabbed a 2-2 draw against Murata with a goal deep into stoppage time, while at Acquaviva, Fiorentino and Cailungo finished level at 1-1.

The match between Murata and Domagnano was full of twists. The yellow-and-reds took the lead in the 14th minute with a free kick from Fusco, then came close to doubling their advantage through Arlotti. Before the break, Murata had a chance to equalize from the penalty spot, but Maggioli saved Hassler’s shot, once again proving decisive from twelve yards.

In the second half, the white-and-blacks turned the game around. In the 49th minute, Sacchini made it 1-1 after pouncing on a rebound from the goalkeeper, while in the 67th minute Hassler made up for his earlier missed penalty by scoring to make it 2-1.

Just when victory seemed within Murata’s grasp, disaster struck. In the 94th minute, substitute Perazzini latched onto a pass from Fusco to fire home the final 2-2 equalizer.

Meanwhile, Fiorentino and Cailungo finished 1-1. The blue-and-reds started strongly and took the lead through Pintore, who capitalized on a long ball from Ajimi to beat Tordella.

Cailungo responded, hitting the outside of the post through Bua, before finding the equalizer in the 35th minute thanks to Edoardo Bernardi, who scored his first goal of the season with a precise right-footed shot into the corner.

In the second half, both sides pushed for the winner. Bua and Cecconi tested Fiorentino’s defense, while Ajmi struck the outside of the post. In the closing stages, Ledesma also tried his luck from a free kick, but the score remained unchanged.

Round six will conclude tomorrow with two matches at 3 p.m. At Montecchio, Folgore will take on Libertas with the aim of claiming sole possession of first place, while Faetano will face La Fiorita at Acquaviva.
