Christian Democrats gather party sections in Domagnano: cost of living, housing and healthcare top priorities

The Christian Democratic Party (Democrazia Cristiana) brought together representatives from its local sections in Domagnano to take stock of the key issues affecting San Marino and set out the party’s upcoming political priorities.

At the heart of the Sections’ Assembly (Consulta delle Sezioni) were eight major themes, ranging from healthcare to education, from energy to the environment, and extending to the Association Agreement with the European Union, institutional reforms, welfare and digital transition.

The meeting — as reported by San Marino RTV — follows two evenings of discussion held in September and October, as well as in-depth work carried out by the sections, including through a dedicated digital platform.

Secretary Gian Carlo Venturini stressed the need to face upcoming challenges with unity and responsibility, while strengthening dialogue between the party’s grassroots and its representatives within state institutions.

Among the issues that emerged most strongly were the rising cost of living and the housing emergency, two problems weighing heavily on families and younger generations.

This point was underscored by party president Alice Mina, who reaffirmed the party’s commitment to finding concrete solutions on these fronts, alongside the other priorities that emerged from the discussions — starting with healthcare, education and relations with the European Union.
