The CSdL is organizing a debate open to the public on the Association Agreement between San Marino and the European Union. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, at 9 a.m. in the Montelupo hall in Domagnano, with participants given the chance to put questions to the speakers.
The initiative follows the signing of the agreement in Brussels, which came after more than eleven years of negotiations. A large delegation from the union took part today in the institutional ceremony at the Kursaal, organized to mark the occasion.
“To celebrate this historic event and to examine the terms of the Agreement in depth, the CSdL has convened the General Assembly of Union Delegates and Representatives to hold a public debate on the morning of Thursday, October 29,” the statement reads.
“EU Association Agreement: milestone reached” is the title chosen for the meeting. The discussion will focus on the “opportunities and potential risks of the free movement of people, goods, services and capital”, in order to explore the effects of the agreement in detail.
The full programme and the names of the speakers will be announced in the coming days. The CSdL invites all citizens to take part.
