A 48-year-old cyclist was injured this morning in a collision with a car on the expressway in Serravalle, in the Ponte Mellini area.
The man was riding downhill toward the state border when the collision with the vehicle occurred; the car was carrying a group of tourists.
118 emergency services assisted the cyclist and took him to hospital for examination and treatment. He suffered facial injuries, with a prognosis of ten days.
The Civil Police (Polizia Civile) carried out an investigation to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and managed traffic during the operation.
