The anthem sung by children’s voices and the emotional tribute to Sisto Spadoni, after whom the training hall was named, marked the opening of the USL congress.
At the heart of the evening was the address by Secretary General Francesca Busignani, who looked back on eighteen years of growth and called for renewed dialogue with other unions and employers’ associations, while reaffirming the USL’s independence.
There was also room for solidarity, with a donation of one thousand euros for IT equipment for the children of Colore del Grano.
