Titans basketball adds Alessandro Renzi and Francesco Guida to the roster

Pallacanestro Titano strengthens its squad with two 2004-born players already capped by San Marino's youth national teams.

A double boost for Pallacanestro Titano, which is adding two 2004-born players to its roster, both already standouts with San Marino’s youth national teams. They are Alessandro Renzi and Francesco Guida, set to wear the Titans jersey next season.

Renzi, a guard, joins from Dolphins Riccione, where he played in Dr1 last season. He has come up through the youth ranks and has several caps with San Marino’s national teams under his belt. «I’m very happy to start this new journey with Pallacanestro Titano», he explains. «I expect a competitive championship, where every game will have to be approached with great intensity». He also had a message for the fans: «Give us your energy even in the toughest games. Home-court advantage is hugely important. Forza Titani!».

For Francesco Guida, on the other hand, this is a return. A 2004-born point guard and product of San Marino’s youth system, he played in Dr2 with Basket 2000 last season. Now he is ready to put himself at the Titans’ disposal once again.

«I’m very fired up and motivated, ready to throw myself into this adventure 100%», says Guida. On the coming championship, he adds: «The Emilia-Romagna grouping is a new development and will certainly be a high-level group. Personally, I hope to be able to help the team, and I’ll do everything I can to make that happen».

With Renzi and Guida on board, Pallacanestro Titano continues to build its roster, once again betting on young talent tied to San Marino’s basketball scene.
