Energreen Space’s digital platform was presented at Villa Bac. The high-tech company has been certified by San Marino Innovation. Over 120 people attended, including entrepreneurs, staff and representatives of trade associations.
Anyone with a solar panel system on their company roof usually discovers something is wrong only after output has already dropped. That’s the limit of traditional monitoring: it records, but after the fact.
This is the gap that Energreen Space is trying to close — the new high-tech venture certified by San Marino Innovation, presented at Villa Bac to more than 120 people, mostly entrepreneurs who own Energreen systems, alongside staff and representatives of trade associations.
At the heart of the evening, titled SPACE ZERO – The Founding Summit, was the launch of the new Energreen Space app, developed in partnership with Letvar Srl.
Here’s how it works: the application communicates with a network of weather stations installed across the territory and cross-references weather data with the system’s technical specifications and its actual recorded output.
The result reaches users in a form that requires no technical expertise: a traffic light. Green, yellow, red. A single glance to understand whether the system is performing as it should under those conditions.
If anomalies or drops in performance appear, the system helps identify issues that need attention more quickly and trigger assistance.
“With Space we wanted to change the perspective: not just show what has already happened, but put entrepreneurs and our technical team in a position to interpret what is happening to their system in real time,” explained Michele Zanotti, CEO of Energreen Space and the project’s creator. “But technology is only the starting point. Behind every system there is a business, a story and an entrepreneur.”
The project’s second component looks beyond monitoring altogether. The app is designed as a digital hub for a community of businesses, a space where companies can share experiences and best practices, develop partnerships, showcase products and services, and build initiatives around training, innovation and sustainability. The “Zero” in the name marks the starting point of a journey intended to gradually expand to other companies.
The evening opened with remarks from Nicolas Rossini, Head of Innovation at San Marino Innovation, with Michael Felici, CEO of Miketing, the event’s social media partner, also in attendance.
Technology and local partners then took the floor, including ZCS, Shelly Group, Genio Micelio and Ecoarea. Closing remarks came from Manuel Poggiali, two-time motorcycling world champion, who shared his experience on preparation and the ability to face new challenges.
