One year after the plan to strengthen San Marino’s mobile network was approved, Reformist Alliance has drawn up a progress report on the first phase of the project, announcing the activation of new installations in Croce di Domagnano, San Marino Città and Murata and the launch of the project’s second phase.
In its statement, the movement recalls that the plan was launched on 5 August 2025, with the goal of improving network coverage across the territory.
“Exactly one year ago, on 5 August 2025, the green light was given for the plan to strengthen the mobile phone network and finally overcome coverage problems that San Marino had been dealing with for years. Today the first phase has been completed. The new installations in Croce di Domagnano, San Marino Città and Murata are now active and provide a real improvement in coverage, addressing blind spots and issues that in some cases had gone unresolved for more than twenty years.”
The statement also points out that the works were carried out thanks to an investment of more than 300,000 euros, fully covered by the operator at no cost to the State.
“We are talking about an investment of over 300,000 euros, entirely covered by the operator, with no costs for the State, while ownership of the infrastructure remains public. It is a concrete result, achieved within a set timeframe, which shows how the public and private sectors can work together to modernize the country’s infrastructure.”
According to Reformist Alliance, the completion of the first phase confirms the working method adopted by the Secretariat of State led by Rossano Fabbri.

A year on, the results are visible on the ground, and this is a great source of satisfaction for us. The movement also announced that the plan will continue with a second phase covering Borgo Maggiore and other areas where network coverage remains insufficient.
“Work now continues with the second phase of the plan, starting with Borgo Maggiore and the areas where coverage is still insufficient. Having a modern, efficient mobile network means offering better services to citizens and businesses, supporting innovation, and making San Marino more competitive and attractive. The goal is to complete the network upgrade and ensure quality service across the entire territory.”
