San Marino will host one of the groups in the Preliminary Round of qualifying for the Under-19 Futsal European Championship. The young Titans have been drawn in Group A alongside Gibraltar, Kosovo and Estonia, and will play on home soil in the window running from 19 to 24 January.
At stake is a place in the Main Round: only the group winner advances. The competition’s final phase will then be held in Kazakhstan.
For the Republic, this marks the second time it has hosted a group, following the one in November 2021. That edition remains in the federation’s records for a specific reason: it was there that the blue-and-whites achieved their first-ever win in an official match, and the opponent they defeated was none other than Estonia — the very side they will face again in January.
