Futsal: Pennarossa and Murata aim to defend top spot in Domagnano

Pennarossa and Murata, level at the top of the table, will both be in action in Domagnano on Monday as the ninth round of the San Marino Futsal Championship gets underway.

At 8:15 pm, Pennarossa, back from a bye week, will take on Juvenes Dogana as they look to climb the standings.

Murata, meanwhile, will play at 9:45 pm against Faetano, who will have to do without three suspended players. Among the absentees are goalkeeper Pietro Rastelli and Yuri Rossi, the team’s top scorer with six goals.

In Fiorentino, the action kicks off at 8:15 pm with Virtus-Folgore. The Giallorossoneri come into the match on the back of a heavy win, while Michelotti’s side are looking to bounce back after their last defeat.

On the same pitch, at 9:45 pm, Libertas will try to extend their run of three straight wins against San Giovanni, who are coming off a double-digit loss. The Granata are aiming to cement their hold on fourth place.

Monday’s schedule will wrap up at 10 pm at the Multieventi with Cailungo-Tre Fiori. The Rossoverdi are chasing their first win of the season, while the Gialloblù will be missing their suspended captain.

On Tuesday, at 10 pm in the Acquaviva gymnasium, it will be the turn of Cosmos-La Fiorita. After a heavy defeat in the last round, Cosmos will have to face the league’s best attack.

The round will close on Thursday, again at 10 pm in Acquaviva, with Tre Penne-Fiorentino. Whoever wins will move above Domagnano in the standings, who sit out this round on a bye.
