Fake emails appearing to come from Tim San Marino are circulating, containing a link that asks users to change their password. It is the latest online scam attempt reported by the company, which has urged customers to be especially vigilant.
In recent hours, numerous spam messages have been circulating, apparently sent from an account named “TIM San Marino Webmail”. However, checking the actual sender’s address reveals that the messages do not come from the company.
The text claims the recipient’s password has expired and invites them to click a link to reset it. That link is exactly where the danger lies.
Tim San Marino is therefore advising customers not to open the link and to ignore the message. The company also reminds customers that it never sends emails containing links to click for this type of operation: subscription management is handled through the Customer Area, by logging in as usual.
