Faetano: proceeds of “Cena Tramonto & Live” donated to Vivere Meglio association

Funds raised at the charity dinner-concert held in Faetano on August 26 have been handed over to the San Marino diabetics' association.

The proceeds of “Cena Tramonto & Live”, the charity dinner-concert organized on August 26 in Faetano by the Fun4all association, have been handed over to the San Marino Diabetics’ Association “Vivere Meglio”. The handover took place during a meeting at the Diabetology Unit (UOS) of the State Hospital, attended by representatives of the Secretariat of State for Health, the ISS (Social Security Institute), professionals from the Internal Medicine Unit (UOC) and the Diabetology Unit, and members of both associations.

The contribution was presented by Roberto Moretti, artistic director of Fun4all. The evening had taken place at the InPerfetto restaurant, in collaboration with the InVolo Cooperative, under the patronage of the Castle Council (Giunta di Castello) of Faetano and with the support of the Ente Cassa di Faetano. The dinner, prepared by chef Davide Bruno and the restaurant’s staff, was accompanied by live music from Valentina Monetta and Lorenzo Pagani, with the contribution of Cantina San Marino. Alongside the fundraising, the evening also featured an awareness campaign on diabetes and the needs of people living with the condition.

“This handover gives concrete meaning to the collaboration between associations, citizens, healthcare professionals and institutions,” said the Secretary of State for Health, Massimo Andrea Ugolini. “Initiatives like ‘Cena Tramonto & Live’ help bring the issue of diabetes beyond healthcare settings, strengthening awareness, participation and attention toward those who live with this condition every day. As a Secretariat of State, we believe it is essential to support a network in which no one has to feel alone, and in which everyone, in their own role, can help build responses that are ever closer to the needs of individuals and families.”

The ISS director general, Claudio Vagnini, highlighted the connection between healthcare and community support: “The value of gestures like this is not measured only by the funds raised, but also by the closeness they express toward people living with diabetes and toward the daily work of the professionals who support them.” He added: “Care requires expertise and continuity, but also listening, trust, and a community capable of working together. I thank Fun4all, Vivere Meglio, and everyone who took part in and contributed to the evening: supporting these efforts helps the ISS maintain care that remains attentive to the individual and to the human dimension of treatment.”

Fun4all and Vivere Meglio thank everyone who helped organize and take part in the evening, along with the professionals of the Diabetology Unit (UOS) for their daily work on behalf of people with diabetes.
