Two years after the assault on a venue frequented by Cesena fans, eleven Rimini football ultras will appear before a judge in February 2027.

A break-in carried out with bars and clubs, the venue left devastated and a man seriously injured to the head. Two years after the assault on the Bellaria Monte club, a venue frequented by Cesena supporters, eleven Rimini football ultras are set to face trial. The pre-trial hearing is scheduled for 4 February 2027 before the Rimini court.

The events date back to the evening of 2 November 2024, when around twenty people with their faces covered reached the headquarters of Asd Bellaria Monte, on Via San Mauro, a meeting point for the Gioventù Bellariese group.

According to the prosecution, the group first threw two lit flares into the courtyard, then smashed the windows until they managed to get inside. Furniture, doors and counters were reportedly destroyed, while a smoke bomb was also set off. Damage to the club was estimated at around 5,000 euros.

A man present at the venue also paid the price, struck on the head with a club. The blow caused a skull fracture, requiring hospitalization, with a prognosis of 40 days.

For the eleven defendants, now aged between 20 and 53, the charges include aggravated damage, aggravated injury, five episodes of damage to cars, and unjustified possession of objects capable of causing harm.

The case file also includes two incidents that occurred six days earlier, during the RBR Rimini–Unieuro Forlì basketball match. One of the defendants is accused of trying to reach opposing fans by evading the police lines and of using a belt as a weapon.

The investigation by police and carabinieri led, in March 2025, to searches targeting the alleged perpetrators. Thirteen Daspo banning orders followed, totaling 56 years of prohibitions from attending sporting events.

The eleven defendants are being defended by lawyers Marco Pastocchi, Umberto De Gregorio, Andrea Guidi, Graziana Maria Bettuelli, Antonella Manica, Massimiliano Orrù and Giovanna Ollà.
