Italian pensions in San Marino: help desk opens for RED/EST form

CSdL and CDLS pensioner federations launch an assistance service for San Marino residents who receive a pension from Italy.

The pensioner federations of CSdL and CDLS have launched an assistance service for filling out the RED/EST form, aimed at San Marino residents who receive a pension from Italy.

The form is used to inform INPS (Italy’s National Social Security Institute) of income earned within San Marino territory. “This is a form that must be filled out every year, which INPS no longer sends directly to pensioners, but which INPS still requires from residents of San Marino who receive an Italian pension, in order to declare income received in San Marino,” the two federations explain in their statement.

To access the service, an appointment must be booked. For FUPS-CSdL, call 0549 962030, asking for Nerina Zafferani, Patrizia Stefanelli or Tamara Valentini.

For FNPS-CDLS, the number to call is 0549 962022. The contact persons are Marino Canti and Amedea Conti.

To complete the form, applicants must bring their 2025 IGR (San Marino income tax return) relating to pension income. Those who do not have this document can collect it from the ISS Pensions Office.

Also required are identity documents for both the pension holder and their spouse, the INPS pension number and category, and the spouse’s IGR.
