Halloween in San Marino: treasure hunt in the historic centre and escape room in the gallery

A treasure hunt for children and an escape room set in a contaminated base are among the events planned for October 31 in San Marino.

A treasure hunt for children and an escape room set in a contaminated base: these are the events planned for October 31 in San Marino, taking place in the streets of the historic centre and in the gallery of Borgo Maggiore.

The afternoon will open with the Halloween Treasure Hunt, starting from the Giardino dei Liburni at 4.30pm. Participation is free and open to all.

“The afternoon of October 31 will be dedicated to the youngest visitors with the Halloween Treasure Hunt, a journey through the charming streets of the historic centre that will lead young explorers in search of riddles, clues and hidden treasures,” reads the statement from the Secretariat of State for Tourism.

From 6.40pm until late at night, the event will move to the Borgo Maggiore gallery, transformed for the occasion into the setting of the escape room “Survive the Outbreak.”

“Participants will be called on to work together to solve puzzles, face challenges and find a way out before it’s too late, with a maximum time of 15 minutes.”

The experience is aimed mainly at an adult audience and involves entry in groups of five people. There are 19 available time slots, bookable through the Visit San Marino website, on the page dedicated to the event.
