An earthquake was recorded at 12:03 pm on Sunday, September 27, offshore from the coast of Rimini. According to a provisional estimate by Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the magnitude was between 2.8 and 3.3.
The tremor was felt by several people in the Rimini area and in the lower part of San Marino. It was also detected by the San Marino seismograph in Casole. Final data from the INGV are still awaited.
