Via Maccioni to close for roadworks: no traffic on two separate days

Via Maccioni will shut down twice for resurfacing works, with both cars and pedestrians barred during the closures.

Via Maccioni will temporarily close to traffic to make way for road resurfacing works. The announcement comes from the State Autonomous Public Works Agency (Aaslp), which has scheduled the traffic suspension at two separate times.

The first closure will take effect on Monday, 21 September at 8 p.m. and will continue until 6:30 a.m. the following morning. The road will then close again on Wednesday, 23 September, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

During these time windows, neither cars nor pedestrians will be able to pass through. The closure will affect Via Maccioni, in the Castello di Città, and is intended to allow workers to operate safely during the resurfacing of the road surface.

Those who regularly travel through the area will therefore need to change their route and use alternative roads, and should expect possible disruption, especially during the daytime closure on 23 September.

Aaslp is asking residents to pay attention to the signage set up on site, thanks the public for its cooperation, and apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused.
