Seven goals to kick off the season. Pennarossa beat Domagnano 7-2 at Acquaviva, banking the first three points of the campaign right away.
The match stayed goalless until the 24th minute, when Busignani opened the scoring, with Ceccoli doubling the lead almost immediately. It was in the second half that the gap widened: Protti struck from distance, Busignani completed his brace, and Morini and Timpani made it 6-0.
Domagnano managed to react through Dolcini, who scored twice, while Pennarossa also found the net through Toccaceli, rounding off the scoreline.
The opening matchday will be completed on Thursday, September 17 at 10pm in Acquaviva with Fiorentino-Tre Fiori. San Giovanni have a bye.
