Dagospia claims: Myrta Merlino set to join San Marino RTV after Mediaset flop

Gossip site Dagospia reignites speculation about San Marino RTV, alleging Myrta Merlino and Simona Ventura are heading to the broadcaster while its director general seeks to extend his tenure.

Dagospia once again turns its spotlight on San Marino RTV, publishing a report on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 5, that revives a series of rumors about the Republic’s broadcaster.

In the piece, the site directed by Roberto D’Agostino writes that “now, under the Titano, Myrta Merlino is also arriving, after her flop at Mediaset,” adding that “Simona Ventura is already making ends meet over there too.”

The report also dwells on the broadcaster’s governance. According to Dagospia, “RTV’s director general, Roberto Sergio, wants to remain in his post even after September 30, when he is due to retire.”

In the same article, the site adopts a sharply critical tone toward the San Marino broadcaster and its relationship with Rai, writing: “But who actually watches RTV, San Marino’s TV station? And why does Rai, which owns 50% of it, have to pay the broadcaster at least three million euros every year, when it’s something of a parking lot for has-beens and a graveyard for elephants?”

At the moment, the claims reported by Dagospia have not been accompanied by any official confirmation from San Marino RTV, Rai, Myrta Merlino, Simona Ventura, or Roberto Sergio. The content therefore remains, for now, an unconfirmed report published by the site, pending any further developments or official statements.
